Pre-Reading for Day Two
You will find below 5 year work plans for the Scottish Pathology Network (SPAN),  the Scottish Clinical Biochemistry Management Network (SCBMN) and the Scottish Microbiology and Virology Network (SMVN).  These are in relation to the 'Making a Difference: Networks in Action' session which is taking place on day two at 2.45 pm.  We ask that you read the plans in advance of the event whilst considering the following questions. 

  • Have the diagnostic networks identified issues that matter to the healthcare science workforce?
  • What are the priority areas for the networks to address to improve outcomes for patients?
  • What are the networks priorities for transforming roles in healthcare science?
  • How can the networks contribute to sustainable services in remote and rural labs?

Please note that the Haematology and Transfusion Scotland (HaTS) 5 year work plan will be available week beginning 17 June 2019.

Charging for Non-Appearance at Events 
If you have booked a place at this event and do not give us at least 5 working days notice that you are unable to attend we reserve the right to invoice you the sum of £50 to cover the cost of your place plus an administrative charge. If an emergency or other unavoidable situation happens on the day to prevent your attendance, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can take that into account. If you cannot attend, it is perfectly acceptable for you to send a representative in your place. Please contact hcsevents@nes.scot.nhs.uk
