NHS Education for Scotland invites you to take part in our second Support Workforce Online Learning Week from Monday 2 to Friday 6 October 2023.

The programme is structured around the five pillars of the workforce journey and provides an opportunity to:

• Spend time on learning dedicated to your needs and requests
• Hear what’s going on and join interactive learning sessions
• Take time to reflect and celebrate your achievements over the last year
• Network with colleagues

We will be hosting bite sized sessions on a range of topics to help your learning and development in your current role and support you taking any next steps.

Target audience:

• Support workforce across all health boards and health and social care partnerships working in:
  - nursing, midwifery, allied health, business and administration, estates and facilities, primary care teams and independent sectors
• Whilst our primary audience is the support workforce, those who line manage or directly support the learning and development of support workforce colleagues are welcome, however the support workforce will be allocated places on a priority basis

Please be aware that registration does not guarantee you a place. Places will be allocated to ensure a fair distribution across Health Boards, organisations and areas of work. Priority places will be allocated to support workforce colleagues.

Discuss this learning opportunity with your supervisor/manager at an early stage.

You can participate in real time or view recorded sessions at a time to suit you.

NES will be using the online platform Eventsforce to host this event and sessions will be delivered via MS Teams.  SHSC Events will be co-ordinating the online delivery.   To access and make full use of the platform we recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser.  Once places are confirmed delegates will receive further details regarding accessing the online event.
