NHS Education for Scotland

Rob Farley is the Programme Director for Healthcare Science at NHS Education for Scotland (NES). He is responsible for resource allocation and commissioning of national postgraduate scientist training, NES CPD programmes for scientists, national events and UK-level engagements on behalf of NHS Scotland’s training interests. His remit at NES includes training programme management and quality monitoring of specialty training in Healthcare Science, working closely with UK colleagues.  Before his NES appointment he was seconded to Scottish Government, and prior to that worked as a bioengineer with NHS Lothian and in other clinical engineering roles around Scotland.
