Practice Educator (Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions)

NHS Education for Scotland

As a nursing and midwifery practice educator employed by NES, Richard Partridge supports NHS Ayrshire and Arran to develop and deliver education for nurses and midwives (primarily level 5 and 6 of the career framework).  Part of his role is to navigate and signpost practitioners to a range of educational resources that support learning and development.  These might include resources available via the TURAS platform such as Learn and the Professional Portfolio.  The role provides a visible and sustained link between NES and NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s core business, vision and values which will contribute to the education and development needs of nurses and midwives.
