Michelle Scott, RGN, BSc, BSc (Hons) SPQ public health Nursing, PGC Practice Teacher.

Michelle began her nursing career as a nursing assistant in 1998 whilst conducting her nurse training.  Michelle’s 24 years’ experience within the NHS includes various acute and community specialities.  Her passion for education and developing others across the workforce led to further education becoming a practice teacher for Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) students in 2015.  In 2020 Michelle moved into her current role as practice educator working within NHS Education for Scotland (NES) based within NHS Lanarkshire.  Michelle’s specific areas of interest are practice education, facilitating learning across health and social care, developing leadership and quality improvement.
