Martyn Ramsay is the Regional Secretary for the BMA in the West of Scotland and has been with the Association for over 15 years. Martyn has a wide range of experience representing doctors in cases involving contract and pay disputes, job planning, relationship breakdowns and disciplinary hearings and now focuses his work on collective bargaining through the Local Negotiating Committees and by supporting both the Scottish SAS and Consultants Committees. He has also been heavily involved in designing interactive employment law courses for Practice Managers and GPs as well as relationship courses for all branches of practice.  In 2015 Martyn was awarded a Masters of Laws with Distinction in Employment Law and Practice by Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
