In over 15 years working within the NHS, Lynsey Downie discovered that Sidekicks rock.  Lynsey started her journey as a clinical support worker in theatres, gaining valuable insight into the variety of roles and professions which comprise our NHS workforce and leading to training as an Anaesthesia Associate.  In that time, she has had to consider where she fits within a system not being one of the traditional heroes “Doctor or “Nurse” and realised the value in being an excellent sidekick.  They may not get the spotlight (or the cape) but they are equally as significant and valued.
