NHS Education for Scotland

Dr Lynne Meekison is Associate Postgraduate Dean for SAS grades in Scotland and leads the SAS Development Programme. She represents SAS-grade doctors as part of the NHS Education for Scotland, including in wider national groups, including COPSAS (Conference of Postgraduate Medical Deans, SAS sub-group).

Lynne is an Associate Specialist in Gastroenterology at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and is a graduate from the University of Edinburgh. She is the SAS Education Adviser for NHS Lothian.

Lynne is on the SAS Committee of Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) as the SAS lead for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is hosting the national AoMRC SAS conference in Glasgow on 7th June 2024.
