West of Scotland Specialist Virology Centre (WoSSVC)

Lynne currently works as a clinical scientist in the West of Scotland Specialist Virology Centre (WoSSVC). Lynne started just before the pandemic kicked off so it’s been an interesting journey so far!

Lynne completed her STP training at St George’s University Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust in 2017 then joined the Scottish Microbiology Reference Laboratories (SMiRL) before taking up the post in virology.  Obtaining funding for higher specialist training is a great opportunity to develop her skills in virology, research and leadership.
