Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Liz Matheson is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked in Greater Glasgow and Clyde Learning Disability Services for 25 years. She graduated from Strathclyde University in 1985 and trained as a Clinical Psychologist at Glasgow University qualifing in 1991. Since then she worked in Adult Learning Disability Community Teams for 6 years then spent 19 years in specialist teams for people whose needs challenged exisiting services. As a result of clinical experience she has developed service responses to harm including Routine Sensitive Inquiry for people who have Learning Disabilities. She is currently employed in the North of Glasgow HSCP Adult Learning Disability Team.
