Scottish Public Services Ombudsman

Kerry Barker is the Training Co-ordinator for the SPSO.  She has worked with the Scottish Ombudsman for 11 years and has a background in law and patient advocacy.  The SPSO training team deliver complaints handling training to staff in a wide range of public sector bodies in Scotland.  Kerry also helped design and deliver the NHS feedback and complaints e-learning modules and support materials.  Kerry also works as a part-time lecturer at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, training staff in National and International Ombudsman offices.
