Training and Development Manager

June Neil is Training and Development Manager (Older People Complex Needs) in the UK Adult Social Care Practice and Development Team at RNIB.

June has been employed by RNIB for over 18 years supporting adults with complex needs and sight loss. Her current role focuses on developing and delivering training to health and social care professionals, carers and CET
training for optometrist on sight loss and dementia, receiving two "highly commended" in Astbury awards for excellence in collaboration. In partnership with other organisations such as NHS AND Alzheimer Scotland, she has created resources including e-learning to support people with sight loss and dementia. She is an active member of Vision UK Dementia and sight loss interest group
