Principal Educator (Person Centred Care)

Dr Jean McQueen is principal educator within NHS Education Scotland developing and delivering education and training promoting person centred care.  She is an HCPC registered occupational therapist and interested in what matters to people who use health and care services.  Prior to joining NHS Education Scotland she worked in higher education teaching in health and social sciences including Professional Doctorate, MSc, Advanced Research Methods and team based working for undergraduate nursing and allied health students.  She is mum to two teenagers and recently like many people during lockdown adopted a cocker spaniel puppy called Fergus who has brought fun and mischief in equal measures.
