Jackie Wales has over 30 years experience working as a Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Transfusion but over the last 14 years has become increasingly involved in training and education. Jackie was the Training Manager for 10 years within the Haematology department at Yorkhill followed by the Quality and Training Manager for Haematology North Glasgow, a post she left in June 2014 to take up her current role as Head of Laboratories at the Golden Jubilee Foundation. During this time she was appointed by NHS Education for Scotland on secondment basis for 15 months in 2010 to the first Healthcare Science Education Lead covering NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and the Golden Jubilee.
