Iain Robertson has been a consultant vascular interventional radiologist since 1995 and has driven a major focus on quality and safety in interventional radiology in the UK.  He has held a number of notable appointments including the President of the British Society for Interventional Radiology, the Lead Clinician for the Managed Diagnostic Imaging Clinical Network in Scotland, and Chair of the Scottish Health Technologies Group. Most recently he has been working  with  the Scottish Government as they work to develop medical devices policy in Scotland and with the NHS Scotland Scan For Safety Programme.
