Lead Clinical Scientist

SMART Centre, NHS Lothian

After studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glasgow, Graham started an NHS Scotland Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering training post based at the Southeast Mobility and Rehabilitation Technology (SMART) Centre in Edinburgh.  Upon completing his training, he worked as a qualified Clinical Scientist at the SMART Centre before taking a Clinical Scientist role in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and joining the Higher Specialist Scientific (HSS) Training scheme.  In 2020, he returned to the SMART Centre to take up a lead role in two assistive technology services, he subsequently successfully obtained funding from NHS Education for Scotland (NES) to complete his HSS training.
