Douglas is the Cardiac Physiology Team Lead for Intervention at NHS Golden Jubilee, which has a national portfolio including the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, NHS Scotland Academy, National Centre for Sustainable Delivery, Golden Jubilee Research Institute and Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.

He has 27 year’s experience in Cardiac Physiology, starting his career as a Student Physiological Measurement Technician in the Western Infirmary Glasgow. Douglas has been integral in development of the NHS Golden Jubilee Cardiac Physiology Practitioner Training Equivalence Programme. Having experience in varying methods in becoming a Cardiac Physiologist both as a student and as a trainer.

Outside of work, Douglas loves spending time with family, listening to classical music, reading and coaching girls football.
