Chief Cardiac Physiologist

Chris works in the field of intervention cardiology with his main interests being in cardiac electrophysiology and implantable cardiac devices. He trained as a cardiac physiologist in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

He has completed a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Implantable Device Technology Management) through the university of Teesside. He is also a committee member for the Scottish branch of the SCST and is Chair of NHS Grampians Healthcare Sciences Forum and Vice chair of NHS Grampians Area Clinical Forum.

He has recently won an advancing healthcare award.
