Principal Clinical Scientist

Alastair studied Physics before joining the Scottish Medical Physics Training Scheme, earning an MSc in Medical Physics and completing his training in Dundee and Glasgow. He now works as a Principal Clinical Scientist and Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine and PET at Gartnavel General Hospital, and is an honorary lecturer at the University of Glasgow. He is currently studying for a part-time PhD and is in his second year of Higher Specialist Scientist training.
