Medicine - Supporting Scottish Grief & Bereavement Care (SSG&BC)

NES’ Supporting Scottish Grief & Bereavement Care (SSG&BC) workstream, which sits within the Medical Directorate, focusses on supporting the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care which is provided around the time of death and in bereavement, within a culture of support for staff health and wellbeing. The exhibition stand will showcase a selection of educational resources which have been developed to enhance the preparedness of health and social care staff to manage care and communication in a bereavement context.

These resources can be found on NES’ Support around Death (SAD) website www.sad.scot.nhs.uk, and also many of them are available on Turas Learn. A number of the materials are film or animation based, and these can all be viewed on the SAD website's videowall.
