3rd National NMAHP Education Conference - a skilled and sustainable workforce for a healthier Scotland Thursday 30 April 2020

We regret to inform you that as a result of the current Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken a decision to cancel this year's Conference.

This is a large event, and in line with Government advice, we want to avoid taking staff away from their various important roles across our health and social care system.

NHS Education for Scotland is pleased to announce its 3rd National NMAHP Education Conference incorporating the 7th General Practice Nursing Conference. The conference offers a unique opportunity to bring together nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, healthcare chaplains, support workers, educationalists, strategic leaders and others with an interest in workforce development and education.

The conference will focus on developing a skilled, sustainable and high-quality workforce to deliver service transformation. The conference will centre around four themes:

• Transforming roles through research, evaluation, education and technology
• Providing high quality learning and development opportunities
• Attraction, recruitment and retention of our workforce
• Education for a skilled, adaptable and compassionate workforce

Please note that there is no charge for this event, but registration is required.

Places will be allocated to ensure a fair distribution of places
Deadline for Registration:  12 March 2020
Places will be allocated by: 19 March 2020
